Workshop on Industrial Symbiosis at the International Institute for Trade and Development, Thailand

Description

I presented and held a workshop on Industrial Symbiosis at a 3-day workshop on the topics Reverse Logistics and Circular Economy, organized by the International Institute for Trade of Development (ITD). Participants were governmental actors, academics, and many industry leaders, specifically in the field of logistics, from Thailand. I shared experiences from my work with industrial symbiosis development in Aalborg, from my master thesis collaboration with the Port of Aalborg, but also from our EU-supported project "Sustainable Synergies", which is aimed at Industrial Symbiosis facilitation in the industrial area of the city. After the presentation, I facilitated a workshop on mapping of ecosystems actors, drivers, and barriers that influence the emergence and development of industrial symbiosis between companies.
