Aalborg University is establishing eight new research teams, AI:X, to advance AI science and ensure Denmark's leadership in AI use. The teams will consist of two lab directors, four PhD students, and a mentor. "By facilitating these interdisciplinary collaborations, we create completely new opportunities for science, we boost the researchers' careers, and we also show that AI is one of the areas we focus on here at Aalborg University," says Thomas Bak, dean of the Technical Faculty for IT and Design.
