CPUC decision will help make broadband more affordable and available to Californians

Roslyn Layton, PhD, broadband policy researcher, and visiting instructor at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, has commended the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for its decision to allow eligible Californians dual enrollment to the state's Lifeline program and the federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Ms Layton praised the CPUC for "listening to the needs of low-income Californians and adopting this value-rich pilot."
