DRONES project receives 30 million kroner from Innovationsfonden

Aalborg University, Quadsat, and The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) have received DKK 30 million from the Danish Innovation Fund for the DRONES project. The project aims to improve the performance and reliability of sensors and communications systems in large vessels, aircraft or road vehicles. "The combination of Quadsat's existing knowledge and experience using drones to test ground antennas for satcoms, with the expertise and research capabilities within both SDU and Aalborg University makes this a particularly interesting project," explains Gert Frølund Pedersen from Aalborg University.
