According to a conclusion from a new study by researchers from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital, faeces transplantation in the intestine is an effective cure in the treatment against Clostridioides difficile, which affects between 2,500 and 3,000 people in Denmark every year - especially elderly and vulnerable patients.
