Have we discovered the smallest extra-solar planet?

Description

Aalborg University's Professor Thomas Tauris, from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, is part of a team that has proposed the existence of a planet less massive than the Moon or similar to the dwarf planet Pluto, around the pulsar PSR J0337+1715. This would make it potentially the smallest extra-solar planet ever discovered. The pulsar is unique as it is the only one found in a triple star system where the stars are located within a perimeter comparable to the size of the Earth's orbit. (Summary provided by Infomedia).
