Description

A study led by the University of California San Diego has introduced a new reference database, Greengenes2, that allows for the comparison and combination of microbiome data derived from two different sequencing techniques. Mads Albertsen from Aalborg University contributed to the study. The database resolves discrepancies between the two techniques, improving the reproducibility of microbiome research and enabling the re-use of data from older studies.
