The 2024 Global Water Monitor Report reveals that rising temperatures are disrupting the water cycle and driving extreme weather events. The report, which used data from thousands of ground stations and satellites, found that rainfall records are being broken more frequently and water-related disasters caused over 8,700 deaths and displaced 40 million people in 2024.
