Description

DRL conducts experiments with larger outdoor unmanned aircraft. The lab has two large rotorcrafts; the T50 carrying 35 kg of payload for 45 min and HEF32 carrying 5 kg of payload for 3 h. In addition, the lab includes a mobile ground control station in a Mercedes Sprinter. It contains all necessary equipment for conducting flight operations, and acts as transportation for the aircraft as well. The equipment is funded by a research infrastructure grant, and is therefore available for rent.
