Facility: Laboratory

      Equipments Details

V-lab is AAU CPH's workshop at Frederikskaj 12 supporting student projects from a diverse array of educations at AAU. Here you can construct scale models or models in full scale and build and test prototypes for your projects. You are always welcome to come by and get advice on how to build your models or prototypes in wood, cardboard, metal, plastic, foam or other related materials. With the tools and machines provided in the workshop, we are able to build almost anything.

V-Lab consists of different sub-labs specialized for wood processing, metal processing and digital fabrication (3D-print, laser-cutting and CNC-milling). To gain access to the V-lab, you must first have a security course and then an introduction. Both are provided by Ehsan Esmaeilzadeh (ehsane@plan.aau.dk). The V-lab professional responsible is Andrés F. Valderrama P. (afvp@plan.aau.dk).
Some of the machines have relocated since last year and others a brand new, so remember to ask for help on how to use the machines and which is the best for the job.

Time booking in V-lab must be agreed upon directly with Ehsan to his mail. Currently, the V-lab is open from 9-17 every weekday.
