Description of impact
This project seeks to understand how global value chains between Europe and Bangladesh are being reconfigured as a result of climate change. It is investigated what this reconfiguration consists of to learn more about how we can better work with global value chains, so we may decrease climate impacts. This leads to a cultural impact, as the generated knowledge is to make both policy makers and other practitioners in the field more knowledgeable about how to reconfigure these value chains. There project also contributes a public policy impact, as it will provide suggestions for handling these challenges politically. A social impact is also contributed, as the industry in this instance gain better options for upgrading their value chains.Category of impact | Cultural impact, Public policy impact, Social impact |
