Description of impact
This research project examines the balance between supply and demand of recyclable textiles in the Nordic countries. Subsequently, the project has been cited in connection with the development of a policy by the European Commission, where the possibility of automatic sorting of recyclable textiles using technologies is described, and the project is used to support this. Additionally, the project has been cited in a report on the role of Swedish ports in a circular economy, where the project is used to support the assertion that logistics chains for circular materials are not yet fully established. As a result of these citations, the project has had economic and other impact, as it has been used to describe the opportunities for better utilization of circular materials.Category of impact | Economic impact, Other impact |
