Description of impact
Norwegian investigators have been able to extend custody of a suspect in a murder case with the help of the results in a report prepared by MIkkel Meyer Andersen. The developed mathematical model for calculating the forensic value of a suspect's Y-chromosome profile contributes with a social impact, since the Norwegian police have been able to use this model to lead a stronger case.Category of impact | Social impact |
