Description of impact
This research project investigates the long-term consequences of blood clots in the brain of children and adolescents. This is to ensure accessible knowledge about these consequences, but also to create more help and support to children and adolescents. This contributes to a social impact, as it becomes possible to better support children and adolescents as well as their families, so they may move on after the blood clot in a positive way. There is also an other impact in this project in generating the necessary knowledge of blood clots in children and adolescents. This can be used both in treatment as well as to convey the knowledge to families.Category of impact | Social impact, Other impact |
