This group centralizes the multiple experimental research activities related to 5G and other wireless communication technologies when applied to the different industry vertical use cases (manufacturing, automotive, non-terrestrial, smart-cities, health-care, farming, etc.). The activities of the group span from performing measurements and field trials, developing radio channel models and network deployment guidelines, providing realistic parametrization inputs to system and link level simulators, and doing performance evaluations; to developing wireless prototypes an testbeds for demonstrating novel concepts.
