Bioprocess technology encompasses a wide range of disciplines, each of which contributes to the study, development and exploitation of biological processes for applied purposes and products. We work with enzymes as well as bacteria, fungi and algae, but also insects and other invertebrates. We strive to link practice to theory, develop and use models to increase our understanding of the invisible, and education and teaching are key activities. We are happy to collaborate with students, other researchers, and people from the business community.
