CfL is a unit at the Faculty of Humanities at Aalborg University
The people affiliated with the centre are organised in NASL (NETWORK FOR ADVANCED STUDIES IN LINGUISTICS). CfL also organises other networks.
Research at CfL is primarily focussed on formal and quantitative theories and methods in linguistics.
However, all linguistic areas, particularly areas of fundamental research, are included in the activities.
