One of the main pillars of the Faculty of Humanities at Aalborg Univeristy is research. Research at the Faculty of Humanities belongs under the departments, centres and individual research groups.

The faculty has two departments which carry on research and education within areas of communication, learning, language, literature, philosophy, globalisation, psychology and music:

We offer a wide variety of study programmes within the fields of language, culture, communication, IT, learning, organisation, tourism, media, music, psychology, design, art and many more. Options are manifold, but one common feature of all programmes is that they all focus on the world that sorrounds us.

Knowledge Collaboration

We consider international and national partnerships across institutions and sectors to be a significant incentive and a goal whereby the Faculty of Humanities can, with its particular profile, contribute to creating added value for research, education, local and global development, and for communication.
