Energy Planning in practice

In practice, the work of the research group comprises:

  • Definition of strategies for the development of energy conservation, renewable energy sources, and combined heat and power production (CHP)
  • Design and analysis of specific proposals for integrating wind power and CHP
  • Development of computer programmes for designing CHP investments
  • Design and application of analytical models of local and national energy systems
  • Regular involvement in the design of the Danish energy policy and its implementation
