The Department of Endocrinology is responsible for diabetes research via the Steno Diabetes Center North Jutland. Research areas are: diabetic neuropathy and the diabetic foot, bone and calcium metabolic diseases, thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal disease, bariatric surgery as well as research on value-based health/patient-reported outcome measures in diabetes.
