Our research – what we do?

Our research is focused on medical microbiology and immunology analyzing the intimate interplay between bacteria and the immune system / between the immune system and cancer development using state-of-the-art molecular and immunological methods

How does our research contribute to societal health challenges?

Our research goals are to understand the molecular interplay between bacteria and the immune system / cancer cells and specific immune cells to contribute to understanding how disease develops and how this knowledge can be used in treatment and prevention of disease.
