Organisation profile

Interdisciplinary Media Studies focuses on the role of media as culture-producing and -affirming elements in a globalized, mediatized society. Predominantly interested in film and tv, the group is also interested in digital media and the interaction of texts across platforms. The dialectical relationship between media and cultural history is essential for the research group’s activities.
