Research profile
I am a Professor (MSO) in Innovation and Impact Studies, member of the IKE research group and head of the IMPAKT research lab. I am also a co-editor of the Journal of Innovation Management and Economics.
My research interests include innovation and industrial dynamics, innovation policy, university-industry interaction and the impact of universities, inter-firm relations, and regional economics. I apply qualitative as well as quantitative methods in my research and have extensive experience working with surveys and register data.
In addition to my research experience, I have several years' experience as a policy maker, working with national and regional innovation policy, particularly focusing on promoting interaction between university and industry and on assessing the impact of policy initiatives.
