Personal profile

Research profile

As a social and political scientist, I have been involved with research on a number of research projects, mainly dealing with various aspects of the EU Common Fisheries Policy and national fisheries management, as well as broader issues of marine governance. I have primarily worked on governance aspects of policy-making and institutional development. Over the last 15 years, I have authored/co-authored 25+ peer reviewed publications (incl. journal articles and book chapters) and a significant number of research reports. I am currently interested in the developments and effects of the Danish ITQ fisheries management system, and simultaneously looking to broaden my knowledge of other marine industries and the challenges of integrated management of these - both at national and international scales.
