Personal profile

Research profile

I graduated as a social worker from VIA University College in 2015 and Master of Social Work from Aalborg University in 2017. In terms of research, I am particularly interested in people in marginalized positions. Previously, I have, among other things, researched children and young people placed in residential institutions and group homes as well as young people's experiences with negative social control.

Currently, I am working on a PhD on minority ethnic LGBT+ youth. My PhD focuses on the lived experiences of minority ethnic LGBT+ youth and how their position as a double minority affects their mental health and their opportunities to seek and receive help.
