Research profile

In 2017, Regitze earned a M.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. She has since worked in research at Aalborg University in the Department of the Built Environment. The research has focused on sustainable buildings as a broad concept, such as sustainable building certification schemes, but also specifically with the environmental sustainability of buildings though performing life cycle assessment (LCA). In the year 2020, Regitze began her PhD-project that focus on easier implementation and use of LCA on buildings in the industry practise. The project looks at LCA and BIM-integration as an efficiency strategy and methods on practical strategies for performing LCA on renovation projects.
