Research profile

I work as a Post Doc at CROM in Aalborg Denmark.

I am a Ph.D specialized in power electronic converters. During my Master, I worked in the next topics: design, analysis, simulation, and implementation of power electronic converters for medium-voltage grid applications. In my thesis, I designed several experimental setups; therefore, I am skilled in magnetic design, power losses calculation, and print circuit board design, as well as I  have a background working with microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs and FPGA boards.

I have collaborated in research projects in two power electronic laboratories: the first one, Electric Energy Quality and Motor Controls in the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. The second one, in LiCORE an R&D based organization where I was skilled in hardware-in-the-loop simulations and rapid-control-prototype implementations.

To perform the research mentioned above, I have used the following computational tools: Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, Typhoon-HIL, dSPACE, LabVIEW, Xilinx Design Suite (for FPGA), and Code Composer Studio (for DSP).

 In my latest researches, I have worked with battery energy storage solutions for PV integration to the grid, which has caused experience in power electronics converter and control schemes for these aims.
