Research profile
Hussein was born in 1990. He received a diploma in metals from the Industrial Technical Institute for Aluminum from 2007 to 2009. In addition, he received B. S. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from Aswan University, Egypt in 2014 and 2019 respectively. From 2014 to 2016, he has been a Quality Control, Research & Development Engineer with the Electronic Construction Services (ECS) petroleum company, Cairo, Egypt. From 2019 to 2021, he is working as an assistant lecturer with the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University. Since 2021, he has been an Egyptian Government Scholarship-holder and started to study his Ph.D. at the Center for Research on Microgrids (CROM), Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark.
In 2019, Hussein was awarded the Ideal Engineer certificate provided by the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, Egypt. In 2013, he was selected as one of the top ten researchers in the field of renewable energy at Aswan University, Egypt. In 2014, he received a class of honor degree in B. S. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Aswan University, Egypt.
Hussein also has several memberships such as Member of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, Arab Engineers Union, Member of the committee Judgment of research projects for students by Intel Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) for 3 years.
