Research profile

Andrea Hyldig researches how the recent extreme storm surges and cloudbursts in Denmark are experienced and interpreted, and how social and gendered norms shape these responses. With particular emphasis on men’s involvement in household climate adaptation, she examines how technical solutions, dominant future imaginaries, and emotion norms shape understandings of climate risk and moral responsibility in a time of climate change.
