I do research in a wide variety of computer vision and AI related areas. I'm a curious person, so by definition I'm interested in everything.
I am, however, particularly interested in
- Industrial vision
- Computer vision for photo editing
- Autonomous cars and driver assistance systems.
I'm always interested in new projects, so if you have a good idea - also one outside the above topics - let's have a chat!
Teaching profile
I teach the following topics:
- Introductory programming
- Basic computer vision/image processing
- Advanced computer vision (master's level)
I'm very interested in teaching and constantly strive to improve. Lately, I've been experimenting with blended learning and flipped classroom. My basic philosophy is that you only learn something when you use it in practice, so I form much of my teaching around miniprojects.
