Anna-Teresa D'Hooghe is a first-year PhD student at the University Hospital of Leuven, Belgium. During the first year of her PhD, she is working as a guest PhD student at the National Center of Excellence for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) - PREDICT at Aalborg University Copenhagen. Anna-Teresa is a medical doctor and is currently specializing in Gastroenterology & Hepatology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases. At PREDICT her work is focused on identifying prognostic and predictive factors of inflammatory bowel disease by investigating multi-omics.
