Albertes reserach interests spans aross the field of startegic sustainability in companies, where the main focus of her research have evolves around sustainability reporting practice and how this impacts corporate sustainability performance. This includes looking into the impacts of the new Corporate Sustainability Directive (CSRD) and related regulatory frameworks like the EU Taxonomy, SFDR, ect.

Further more she have been working with the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) both through their implementation in Small to Medium Sized companies. She has also participated in projects focusing on including the SDGs into teaching practices.
