Aksel Bang (born 9th of August 1991) is a Danish civil engineer (Cand.Polyt. 2018) in Urban, Energy and Environmental Planning with a (M.Sc.Eng 2020) in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management from Aalborg  University in Denmark.

Aksel Bang is currently a Ph.D. fellow at Aalborg University at the institute for sustainability and planning where his work evolves around: Strategic energy planning at the regional level for integrated energy systems. The Ph.D. study commenced on the 15th of August 2020 and the expected date of completion is autumn 2025.
