Research profile
Cecilie conducts research in the legal aspect of alternative finance, including crowdfunding.
Cecilie's PhD dissertation focussed on investment-based crowdfunding in Denmark and the legal concepts, rules, and challenges arising from the introduction of ECSPR in a Danish context. The dissertation was the first in Denmark and the Nordics to systematically and critically analyse the regulation of investment-based crowdfunding.
Cecilie has been a visiting scholar at the Crowdfunding Research Center at the University of Agder in the fall of 2021 in relation to her PhD dissertation.
Cecilie is a former participan of the 25th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Teaching profile
Cecilie teaches Law of Obligations I, II and III, as well as the courses Civil Procedure and EU Law.
Cecilie has previously taught Advanced International Contract Law.
