Research profile

I am affilated with the research group CEDOMUS; Center for Documentation and research in Music Therapy, where I am participating in various primarily qualitative projects that focus on how music therapy can be used for the benefit of people with different challenges - in different contexts. In addition I am affiliated with the interdisciplinary research group TEN; time, exixtence and nature connectedness. Here the focus is to explore what it means to feel connected to the Earth and it's nature, and to search for new ways to a more life-friendly and sustainable future with greater care for the planet including species other than human.

I am coordinating a two-year part time continuing education (Music, psychology and health) at Aalborg University campus Copenhagen

Teaching profile

I teach at both bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. level, primarily music therapy students (since 1998) and students at Music, Psychology and Health (since 2012), especially in therapeutic subjects and supervision, where the focus is on the stundent developing towards a present, empathic and ethically borne professional identity. In addition I teach other professional groups in topics such as contact and connection, the creative unconscious, music listening etc.
