Research profile

I have built a strong scientific profile in clinical research, with a particular focus on dysphagia in older adults and frail patient populations. My work adopts an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach, drawing on expertise from geriatrics, rehabilitation, primary care, and municipal health services to generate meaningful, patient-centered outcomes.

A key contribution has been highlighting oropharyngeal dysphagia as a critical yet underdiagnosed condition with significant implications for quality of life, morbidity, and mortality. I have actively worked to integrate early screening and intervention into routine clinical practice, particularly for high-risk groups such as geriatric patients, individuals with hip fractures, and those at risk of pneumonia.
