Research profile
I min forskning interesserer jeg mig særligt for, hvordan viden, professioner, arbejde og organisering udvikler sig og formes under organisatoriske og teknologiske forandringer. Herigennem fokuserer min forskning på at kortlægge, hvilke former for ekspertise er væsentlige og hvordan organiseringen heraf forandres. Empirisk, har en del af min forskning fokuseret på det ekspertarbejde, der er involveret i styringen af primært offentlige organisationer. Her har jeg studeret de roller, som ledelseskonsulenter og data science spiller i at forme organiseringen af arbejdet. Jeg er for tiden i opstartsfasen af et DFF finansieret forskningsprojekt omhandlende forskellige former for kunstig intelligens (machine-learning) indvirkning på konfigurationen af professionel ekspertise i offentlig administration.
Teoretisk er mit arbejde forankret i organisationsteori og trækker inspiration fra science & technology studies samt professions- og ekspertisesociologi. Metodisk har min forskning primært en etnografisk orientering, hvor jeg fokuserer på den daglige arbejdspraksis og det dynamiske forhold mellem teknologi og professionelle praksisser. Jeg er også optaget af mulighederne i kombinationer med andre metoder – fx nyere digitale metoder.
Igennem min forskning søger jeg at støtte den praktiske anvendelse af prædiktive og generative AI-teknologier i forskellige arbejdsprocesser. Herunder brug af disse teknologier til at skabe bedre beslutningstagning, samarbejde og læring.
