Research profile

My research focuses on social work and social pedagogy in relation to people in vulnerable positions - particularly children and families and persons with intellectual disability. I am interested in fundamental phenomena such as care, power and professional problemunderstandings, and how we can create strengthened opportunities for participation for people in vulnerable life situations in research and social work.

Teaching profile

I teach at the Social Work program and the Master's program in Vulnerable Children and Youth, professional leadership, in themes related to social work with vulnerable children and youth, such as the placement area, child perspectives, conditions for vulnerable families, care, etc. I also teach sociological theory, research design, and qualitative analysis. Finally, I am an engaged supervisor at both the master's and Ph.D. levels, emphasizing supporting students in building academic virtues - critical reflective thinking and inquiry.
