Dr Kjaersdam Telléus is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has a shared position between the Unit for Psychiatric Research, Aalborg University Hospital, where she holds a position as Senior Researcher and Head of the Research Program for Eating Disorders, and at the Department of Psychology at Aalborg University, where she works Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training.

Dr Kjaersdam Telléus has worked in the field of eating disorders since 2005 and has published within the field of mental health and eating disorders.

She did her PhD in cognitive profiling of children and adolescents with an eating disorder.

Dr Kjaersdam Telléus is on the Board of Directors of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) where she has served as Director of Outreach and currently servs as President-elect. She is also a Fellow of AED and a member of the Eating Disorders Research Society, and the Danish Society for Eating Disorders.

Dr Kjaersdam Telléus has been involved in the making of the national clinical guidelines for eating disorders in Denmark and led the translation of the eating disorders section of ICD-11 into Danish. Dr Kjaersdam Telléus has an extended international network within the eating disorder community.
