Research profile

I am an assistant professor in biostatistics at the Center for Clinical Data Science and the Center for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Throughout my academic career, my primary scientific interests have focused on the development and application of statistical methods to address challenges in the medical field. My research includes observer agreement studies, spatial statistics, synthetic data generation, disease mapping, and epidemiological studies in oncology, hematology, and inflammatory bowel disease. 

Teaching profile

I teach and coordinate a PhD course in dynamic risk prediction. Additionally, I teach a bachelor’s course on prediction models in healthcare.

I also supervise student projects at all levels and from various academic programs.
