Personal profile

Research profile

My primary research focuses are diabetes mellitus and telemonitoring. Specifically, I concentrate on the application of digital solutions, including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and patient-generated data, within a clinical context. Through telemonitoring and advanced data analysis, I strive to develop solutions that provide healthcare professionals with better insights into patients’ conditions, thereby enabling more precise and personalized treatment strategies.

I employ both qualitative and quantitative methods in my research, including machine learning, interviews, and usability engineering. This combination of methods allows for a deeper understanding of both the technical and human aspects of diabetes management and telemonitoring, which I hope will contribute to the development of more effective and user-friendly healthcare solutions.

Teaching profile

I am engaged in teaching activities within the MEDIS/Medicine program, where I supervise students in their public health projects. Additionally, I guide students from Clinical Science and Technology in their semester projects. My supervision is based on problem-based learning, and I emphasize developing the students’ abilities in reflective and critical thinking.
