Research profile

My research focuses on multimorbidity among individuals with back and neck pain, investigating how a high burden of illness and treatment affects their disease progression, treatment options, and quality of life. I aim to uncover the complex challenges faced by these patients, including their experiences within the healthcare system and the barriers they encounter during treatment. Furthermore, I explore how adopting a more holistic approach can improve the coordination of care and rehabilitation, ultimately enhancing outcomes for this patient group.
