Personal profile

Research profile

I am a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Materials Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Bioscience. My research is focussed on computational materials design of sustainable materials including hybrid organic-inorganic ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials and inorganic solid-state electrolytes. I am particularly interested in the effects of temperature, entropy and disorder on the structure, properties and stability of materials, and I study these effects using quantum chemical, crystallographic and data-driven methods.

I received my PhD in chemistry from Aarhus University in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Bo Brummerstedt Iversen. I then held an Independent Research Fund Denmark Postdoctoral Fellowship and subsequently a Schmidt Futures AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship at Imperial College London, UK, working with Prof. Aron Walsh. In September 2023, I moved to AAU as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor to start my independent research group.
