Katrine Freja Jensen is a PhD Fellow in Economics, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. She is associated with the IKE-group (Industrial Dynamics, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship) at Aalborg University Business School.

In her research, she quantitatively analyses if and how more women on the board of directors in Denmark is a mean to address the continuous problems with gender inequality in Danish companies. In her PhD project, the focus is if, when, by how much, and under what conditions the trickle-down effect impacts on various measures of gender equality such as the number of women in management positions, gender wage gaps, and promotion prospects and speed.
