Personal profile
Research profile
I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Business and Management at Aalborg University and the leader of the research network for Organizational Renewal and Creativity Applied. My research is a cross disciplinary approach, often a cross between neuroscience and philosophy, within the themes of ethics, learning, sustainable organizations and leadership. The goals is to contribute to the current scientific and societal challenges through the development of a thorough understanding of humans and apply that to the current challenges. In 2017, I achieved an award for an article for learning in project and problem based work at the international conference in Learning at Higher Education in Nashville, USA. I am currently developing a master’s degree in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan Business School within the themes of sustainability and Problem based learning. My research collaborations are mostly located in California, England, Denmark and Sweden. My primary sources of inspiration are Buber, Kant, Bourdieu, Mead, Arendt and Crossley. As an example of my work, I am currently writing a book for Palgrave publishing which is a critical analysis of the ethical and existential assumptions regarding humans in modern organizations.
