Personal profile

Research profile

My research focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals living with shoulder pain. My PhD centers on developing a complex intervention to promote shared decision-making for shoulder pain management across healthcare sectors. I am particularly interested in bridging the gap between research and practice by using implementation-focused methodologies, including critical realism, participatory research, policy mapping, and systems thinking.

I have previously conducted research on chronic musculoskeletal conditions, such as knee pain, including Osgood Schlatter disease, patellar tendinopathy, and patellofemoral pain. My goal is to design interventions that embrace real-world complexity, are tailored to end-user needs, and leverage innovative, participatory approaches to ensure both sustainability and clinical relevance.
