Has a special interest in movement and sports pedagogy, and how physical activity can be implemented, for example, in the school context or in connection with sedentary activities such as gaming/esports.

Additionally, I have an interest in alternative forms of sports activities beyond those practiced through associations. Examples of alternative movement forms include lifestyle sports such as parkour, street basketball, and skateboarding.

Finally, I am also interested in educational and instructional development and have researched various didactic/pedagogical models that can contribute to enhancing students' and learners' motivation for learning and their engagement with teaching.

Teaching profile

I teach both at the undergraduate and master's level in sports. My teaching activities include module/course instruction, where I am responsible for several modules/courses, as well as guidance spanning from the 1st semester of the sports bachelor program to master's theses.

Modules/courses for which I have responsibility include:

  1. Introduction to Problem-Based Learning and Scientific Theory (1st semester BA)
  2. Motivation for Sports and Physical Activity for Health Promotion (6th semester BA)
  3. Different Target Groups in Sports (1st semester MA)

Additionally, I also teach on the following modules/courses:

  • Identity and Culture in Lifestyle Sports

PhD Supervision

I have experience in supervising Ph.D. students within the areas of creativity in ball sports and movement in esports.
