Research profile

Martin Bach Jensen has had a parallel clinical medical and academic career. Early in his career, his research focused on rehabilitation after surgery. Over the past 15 years, the focus has been on the use of new technology in general practice (especially the use of ultrasound) and musculoskeletal problems in patients in general practice. Methodologically, the research has included extensive quantitative and qualitative clinical studies, as well as registry-based research.

Since the beginning of his medical studies, he has been teaching. He has extensive experience in educating primarily medical students, but also, for example, candidates in physiotherapy, as well as postgraduate education of primarily general practitioners. In this context, he has also developed new courses and course planning.
