Personal profile

Research profile

My research is two-pronged: Having actively engaged with the technological landscape of Industry 4.0, I’ve ensured its groundbreaking innovations find resonance both in academia and on the construction site. As we transition into Industry 5.0, I’m poised to further integrate advancements that prioritize both state-of-the-art tools and the well-being of the workforce.

Mainly I study the integration of industrial exoskeletons into the construction sector. I am actively involved in conducting empricial studies in construction sites with construction workers. I mainly look at the possible advantages that comes along with its integration, percieved discomfort and applicability.

In addition, I use and develop AI models using deep learning techniques to automate and improve occupational health and safety in construction sites.

I delve deep into engineering education pedagogy, harnessing the transformative power of Virtual Reality (VR) to bring to life complex engineering concepts in the classroom. Parallelly, I investigate its applications within the construction industry, exploring how VR, along with other emergent technologies, can reinforce safety measures, enhance worker well-being, and streamline construction processes.
