Morten Kristiansen's research focuses on the automation of industrial processes. He has worked extensively across a range of applications, including welding, hybrid welding, painting, draping, cutting, forming, and sewing. Since 2010, his primary focus has been on the automation of high-power laser processes, where he has led a dedicated research group. His core competencies include process automation and integration, monitoring, modeling, and control. In 2021, he founded AutoShape, a company dedicated to industrializing and integrating advanced laser processes.
